Terms & Conditions for uploading photos to Novacash network
By uploading photos you guarantee that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that you agree to abide by all clauses within these Terms and Conditions.
1. Copyright Ownership
By uploading a photo to the Novacash network you guarantee that you are the legal owner of the copyright of that photo, or have been awarded full and unrestricted rights from the copyright owner to upload the photo to the Novacash network.
2. Third party rights
By uploading a photo to the Novacash network you guarantee that such use of the photo in the Novacash network does not violate the rights of any other party, does not result in a breach of contract between you and another party and that you accept responsibility for any royalties or fees due to any other party from the use of the uploaded photo.
3. Accepting and rejecting Images
All photos uploaded to the Novacash network will be assessed by curators. The curator will either accept or reject each photo for use in the Novacash network. Photos that are rejected will be deleted from the Novacash network entirely, with no copies remaining in the Novacash network. The decisions of the curators are irrevocable. Novacash reserves the right to reject and remove any uploaded photo, for any reason, at any time, without prior notice.
4. Title, Description, Category, Key Words
You agree to assign title, description, category and key words matching the photo. You agree to write title, description, category and key words in English.
5. Recognizable Persons
For any photos that depict recognizable person a model release is needed. Since Novacash Gallery does not yet support model releases, you are not allowed to upload any photos with recobnizable persons.
6. Trade Marks
You are not allowed to uplaod photos with recognizable trade marks.
7. Focus
Do not upload photos with any lens blur, camera shake or focus not where it should be.
8. Lightning
Do not upload photos with flat light, bad shadows and poor exposure. Photos must be well lit and properly exposed to be useful.
9. Noise
Do not upload photos with visible noise (for example due to high ISO in poor lighting conditions).
10. Chromatic Aberration
Chromatic aberration are recognized as purple (or blue/cyan/red/yellow) colored fringe or halo around the edges of your subject outlines. It is caused by the light passing through your lens not being focused on the camera sensor properly. Do not upload photos with bad chromatic aberration.
11. Sensor Spots/Dead Pixels
Sensor spots are dirt or particles that got into camera body and ended up on the sensor. They, along with dead pixels should be removed with editing software. Do not upload photos with sensor spots or dead pixels.
12. Horizon
Do not upload photos with a sloping horizon. Only photos with a level horizon will be accepted.
